I follow ya, just curious if for the most part the coloring would be in the right places. I'm sure their beautiful lacing doesn't just happen :)

I've been watching this thread and skyline poultry s website for activity but there doesn't seem to be any? I really want some of these so how would I go about getting them?

I need these in my life! Anyone selling any??
You could look for Isabel Leghorns if the most important thing is coloration. There is a thread that discusses the leghorns and it is current (this one is pretty old) --- and two people who are providing them for sale.
:O)

good morning, i am not a breeder but there is something i am curious about.does mating siblings together result in deformities or any other mental or physical abnormalities?

Nope, you'll have to have had at least 6 or 7 generations of direct inbreeding before you might see some crossed beaks or shortage of feathers, although those might not be a direct result of the inbreeding.

Seems this is a very old message thread, but I wanted to offer an update. Here is my flock of Isabel Crele Welsummers. They are currently laying some brown and some dark green eggs. I also have a pen of F1's that are a backcross to a gold partridge welbar (Gold Crele Welsummer). Got the first eggs from that pen this week, so starting move forward to get them type and egg color even better.
