This morning I noticed one of my chickens eyes was swollen shut. I washed it out and added a little neosporin ointment at the top and bottom, but I can't tell if she has an infection or is getting hen pecked by my other two chickens. Can you guys look at the pics and help me out? I am new to chickens. She is about 4.5 months old.

This morning it appears to be worse. Her eye that was injured yesterday is completely swollen shut. I washed it out and applied neosporin. She would not open her other eye, so I washed it out and she eventually opened it. She doesn't have any spots on her comb except that one red one seen in picture below. I wasn't sure if that was from being hen pecked though.

It looks like peck marks, keep her separate until wounds have healed. Eye will be swollen b/c of wounds, keep applying ointment. If just wounds and not any other issues such as avian pox, they will heal fast.

When I came home today I confirmed it was henpecking. A section of her come was bit off. After separating and healing, what do I do to keep them from doing this to each other?

Poor girl, she is upset and her feelings are hurt. See if it is just one being a bully to her. Any wound on a chicken will have all of them pecking at it,that is just how they are,not called raptors for nothing. If it is one chicken bullying her, separate the bully for a few days when you are putting your injured girl back, this should change the dynamics of the pecking order. You could also try pairing her with another docile hen for a few days, see if they get along, this will also help with the pecking. Having a friend on your side, makes all the difference in the chicken world.

How many girls do you have and what are their ages, are they all the same breed or mixed?
