This is the snood I knitted for myself. Currently I am no longer a blonde. Dark brown atm. May go back to the blonde next summer.

Very pretty gloves, I like the snowflake pattern. I like the socks also, they look hard to knit.

I have tried many times to learn how to knit, but without success. My grandma tried to teach me how the knit, then how to crochet, and finally tatting. Turns out - knots are my friend and I can tat. She used to make the bestest tube socks in the world; they would twist up really tight after you washed them, but they expanded to fit your foot perfectly. THey were warm and comfy and fit in my ice skates perfectly. She made mine an extra 2 inches higher because I "asked her to so nicely". I have the last pair that she knit me, never been worn. Her eyesight was so bad she dropped alot of stitches and I am afraid that they will unravel. I always say that one day I will figure out her pattern and learn to make me some more, but for now, they are in my sock drawer and serve as a reminder of the good old days.

That's so cool that you can tat! I tried so hard to learn, but I never got past the basics. I do love knitting though. The socks are easier than you might think, it's a fairly basic pattern. The main difficulty is how fine of a yarn weight I chose to use. Fingering weight yarn is the traditional sock choice, and it makes a fine, firm fabric, but it can be a bit fiddly to work with. (Especially the one I chose, because it has elastic in it and if you pull to hard on the yarn, your finished sock won't have any stretch. I did that the first time and ended up ripping it out and re-knitting.)

I love knitting! When I got signed off from work I got my Granny to teach me so I would have something todo on the days I cant manage very much. I love making dolls and toys. Iv just started to learn how to crochet but finding it hard to pick up. What is tat?
Here is the fairy I did a few months ago, Im working on a princess and a wizard now. I just cant stop!
