i just got a new chicken today from a guy on craigslist and i recently noticed that her eyes and nose are watery, it looks like mucus, she looks fine other then that she is walking and eating and drinking. please if someone has had this problem please tell me what i should do, and is it contagious for human and other chicken, i have separated her and she only had been with the rest of my flock for only a few minutes and she seems very skinny, she is an easter egger

Absolutely isolate her! It may be nothing, but if it turns out to be a respiratory issue, you don't want the others coming down with it - worse yet dying from it!
Extra protein, yoghurt, vitamin water etc. try to build up her immune system so she can fight off whatever 'it' is. How old is she?? Sue
 
I would also isolate her. Like boskelli1571 said, it may be nothing, but it could possibly be a respiratory disease. This can be passed from bird to bird. (not bird to human). When doing chores and such, i would take care of your flock and then her, so that you aren't possibly transporting germs from her to your healthy chickens. I woudl watch to see if she starts sneezing and breathing odd. I hope it turns out to be nothing!
 
Are those bubbles on the inner corner of the eye? Runny nose and eyes, plus bubbles in the eye may mean bronchitis or mycoplasma G also called CRD. Any new chicken should be quarantined for at least 30 days for this reason. I would also take her back. These diseases can be treated, but with respiratory diseases the survivors will become carriers to all other members of your flock even if they have no symptoms. her eye is clear now there are no bubbles anymore, her eye is still a bit watery but almost completely gone. could it have been caused because of the trip here or, is it still a problem?
 
I would still consider it a problem. I bought a pair of OEGBs at a show. Got them home and a few hours later the rooster had foamy eyes for about 2-3 hours


Looked perfectly fine when I bought them. His eyes cleared up, he then started sneezing.4 days later he passed away. The hen died 3 days before him. She never showed symptoms just died. They were an older pair so it probably hit them harder than it would a younger pair. I am glad I quarientined (sp?) them. I would suggest that you remain keeping her separated.
 
obviously my rooster had much more apparent signs, his signs/symptoms were more severe than your new pullets. I just wouldn't want to take any chances

You still need to quarantine for 30 days. Many people end up regretting not doing that, and lose their whole flocks to disease, or at least make carriers out of them.
