Map of potential chicken sitters

A lot of us would be very happy to have a chicken sitter for when we go on vacation, so I think it would be an incredible resource to have a list of people who might be willing to do this. I made a custom google map where each of us who would be willing to chicken sit can add a pin with our approximate location. For each pin, we can put in our user name on here so that people can PM us. So far I put myself on there and stuck in another placeholder pin just so the map isn't zoomed in so much. I'll delete that one later.

What do you all think of this idea?

Okay. I placed myself on the map. I am in Georgetown Texas just north of Austin. I hope I didn't mess up the map.
 
Great idea! I know that many people on the Indiana Thread have discussed the difficulty of finding capable people to care for their chickens and animals when they go out-of-town. I added my location-- the north side of Evansville, Indiana.
 
This is a great idea. We had some difficulty finding a sitter for Christmas but were able to find one in time.
 
To put a pin on your area, you click the little balloon.


Then the cursor will change to crosshairs, so you can just click on the area where you live, and then put your user name in.
 
Well don't feel like you're committing to anything if you put yourself on the map! If you'd consider sitting, then go ahead and put yourself up there, I think. :)
