Emu Hatch Along! :D

What temperature do you need to keep the newly hatched emu? We have been raising pheasant chicks for a few years but have several Emu eggs in the incubator and I can't find any information on post hatching!! Please help. Thank you!

My emu eggs are on day 63 and have not hatched.... They passed 4 tests to see if it was alive. And the float test? They were incubated at 96F and 8% humidity. When do I assist?

Hi I'm just wondering what the best and easiest incubator is to us for hatching emus?

I'm a first timer and have three emu eggs in my IM incubator. I have the temperature on 36.4 degrees Celsius and a dish of Luke warm water in the bottom and a wet bulb thermometer along sit it on 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Does this sound like I'm doing the right thing or is there any adjustments I can make?

I know a guy who does really well with a plane old hovabator. Emus aren't that fussy on perfect temperature. Its really important to weight them and make sure they are loosing the right amount of weight and thats the best way to tell if your humidity is ok. Every emu egg has different porosity and it also depends on size, so there really is not a perfect humidity for all eggs. If i were you I'd lower it at least 1 degree in temp. 99.5-97.5 F is all ok but a little lower is usually better for stronger chicks.

Ok, I have a Rcom 20 and want too hatch Emus eggs, which I'm getting tomorrow.
I can not get the humidity to go lower. I have it set for 23% but it stays at 38% I'm thinking the humidity in my home must be at this. So should I shut the humidity off on the incubator?
