I know it is heartbreaking to lose our feathered friends, particularly if they are pets as it seems yours are. If you really enjoy keeping chickens, I would get a couple more as company for your lonely girl. The new hens are not going to erase the memories of your girls that passed, they will create their own space in your heart and provide your hen with much needed companionship. On the other hand, if you have found that having chickens is not what you thought it would be and you would be happier without them, it would be kindest to find your lone hen a flock so she can be happy,
