One of my hens appears to have dried feces or something stuck all around her cloaca and the surrounding feathers. Her underside skin also seems darker pink than it should be so I suspect there might be some inflammation or at least irritation there. She otherwise seems healthy and happy with a good appetite and energy and is producing an egg a day or so. I tried to get some of the gunk off but didn't want to hurt her. Should I give her a warm soak? What should I do? Thanks!
