The Power wants them to give up because they know that when the Rebels put their minds to something, they can defeat anyone. The Power tries to tell the Rebels that they are destined to fall...but that is a lie. The Rebels are lead by only the bravest, for only the brave can hold out against the Power. The Power has taken away and burned all guns and modern weapons so the Rebels must use olden day weapons; bows, swords, daggers, you name it.
