Hi! I have 3 chicks that I am still unsure what breed or gender they are.

This one has 5 toes and fluffy feet too. I think it is a pullet

I think this one might be a Rhode Island Red?? I think it is a cockerel too but honestly not sure.

This one I am almost positive is a Golden Laced Wyandotte but am not quite sure is it is a pullet one cockerel, leaning towards cockerel by the way it acts.

Your first almost looks like a Sultan, do you know if the hatchery/breeder you bought from sells those?

The second is absolutely a rooster. He's a Production Red (or a hatchery RIR, basically the same thing).

The third looks like a Laced Wyandotte (can't tell if it's silver or gold from pic). Nothing about it says boy yet. If it's aggressive, that's just a hatchery thing for Wyandottes, not gender related.

The laced Wyandotte always runs up to my hand and the RIR doesn't. My old roo would always run up to my hand. Is it possible the reason he isn't so aggressive towards me is because I have another roo somewhere in the pen and he is the omega? Will this make him calmer? He is mean to the other chicks, but I very skid dish when she rarely runs up to my hand,

That's a difficult question to answer! You have a lot of variables in the mix. Firstly you have different breeds, and different breeds have different temperaments to each other. Secondly you have individuals, and no one individual is the same as the next, even though one particular breed may be predisposed to a certain temperament. Thirdly they will be sorting out their pecking order as they grow up. Lastly you have different genders in there which may an impact on the way they interact with each other. FYI when we talk about the dominant animal in a group we refer to it as the alpha, and the next most dominant is known as the beta.

Thank you! I will keep all these things in mind.
