[Sassybird is here this morning. Figs are finished. Saw a wild breeding-pair at the lilly pilly tree yesterday. We need rain. Really need rain. I even think Sassybird is almost hungry.Spot and Spottina are in orbit. Shadow is too.]
 
Well, our little one seems to be doing great...she is no longer sick, is breathing normally and very active.

She is eating like crazy and has doubled her size this week.

Now I have a new worry though...her toes on both feet seem to be pointing out. when she sits her legs are off to the sides and I notice now when she runs her legs go to the sides also. I am worried now about her developing splayed legs. I removed her stuffed toys because she seemed to "straddle" her ostrich and stomp it often and I didn't like what the straddling was doing to her legs.

Always so many stresses and worries with this little thing.

Aside from this she is fine, she is excited and happy, eats like crazy (both her chicken starter & her salads).
 
Splayed legs is THE problem, but it must be addressed by more knowledgeable people.

If you have time, start surfing past threads. Tragically, this is a recurrent problem.

Get Emoo all the exercise you can.
