Hi! My husband and I just bought our first batch of chicks tonight and are excited to get started on this adventure. After doing a lot of research, we decided to start with Buff Orpingtons, which Tractor Supply just happened to have in stock when I went in to pick up rabbit supplies. Can't wait to get started on our large coop! Thanks for having us!:D

Hi! Yes, we read quite a few things on this site before we took the plunge! My babies are only three days old and they are so precious. :)
 
Welcome to BYC. Buff Orpingtons are a good dual purpose breed. Hustle on that coop - those little buggers grow rapidly.
