Sounds like someone let them out that' s usually how they show up, it's called dumping and very sad. Bread isn't good for them they need lots of green grass and water fowl pellets. the duck will look for bugs to eat , the grass needs to be free from chemicals also. Someone probably had them and possibly got over whelmed and couldn't care for them any more and figured hey the resort will care for them, sometimes they get dumped in rivers and ponds and lakes , parks also. Maybe you can go to work on their behalf and find them a good safe home. Especially if the resort doesn't want to care of them or want them around. bless you for caring enough to post about them. and
