I have 5 chickens,4 are red pullets I forget the exact breed and one is a dark brahma st run , they are around 3 months old and I have had them since they were maybe a week old if that.They were always friendly,I can feed the red chickens from my hand BUT the brahma will bite me like crazy! I cant even go in the pen unless I pick him up.

Anyway to stop this?its pretty annoying and now one of my reds is beginning to do the same :(
 
Yes! I have 2 mean red chickens! They peck me every time I got in their area! They are almost 6 months old and I have them since they were 2 days old. What if anything can I do with mean chickens?
 
I had to stop my astralorp from being mean. She is a sweet friendly chicken now! When they act aggressive, pin them to the ground! I would usually push down on her back to pin her down, and use my other hand to push her head to the ground. Hold for about ten seconds, then let her up. I did it a few times and she got the idea
