Very disappointed my emu layed 24 eggs the male is setting on 17 and I'm hatching the rest it's way over the time limit for hatching none have hatched but he's still setting should I take the eggs away from him and is there a market for unhatched emu eggs
 
but the incubation period doesn't start until the male starts sitting on the nest full time, not when the eggs are laid... 24 eggs laid an average of three days apart is almost two and a half months between the laying of the first egg and the laying of the last egg? At what point did the male start sitting?

She layed a lot of eggs over a period of time should I just wait him put
