Yes this is do-able. My chickens,aided by me shaking a bag of cracked corn follow me from the back yard to the front every second day. Sometimes I do have a straggler but when they figure out they are alone they quickly get with the program. You would have to to think of something practical for egg collection though! It would be a nightmare looking for them
