I bet it was the RIR's that are laying. ALL of mine are laying now, including the orphingtons that were molting. So, after being out of town on Friday and Saturday, I collected 19 eggs from 9 birds on Sunday afternoon! They are all doing a great job now - glad to hear yours are starting to produce.
