I know things can get mispelled easily or miss typed and not one to point it out usually but I have seen this in too many threads now.
coop not coup and please stop with quoting whole posts

I'm with you. I'm annoyed by misspelling but I've discovered that many people are posting using smart phones (oxymoron) and the predictive spelling causes them to post some crazy stuff.

I sure hope people dont keep their chickens in coups. Don't see how they would be alive, overthrowing governments make a person hungry!
Quoting posts is extremely annoying especially in long threads. Some quotes are even a year or two later and its a quote of a quote usually with 30 of the same pictures attached to it or a dozen of the same paragraphs.
If you want to reply to a person or tell them their coop/birds are awesome then you can @name.

Yes I use a smartphone and its annoying trying to post, type, edit anything but its my only form of internet right now. I dont use auto correct and take the time to reread what I post
I believe @name is fairly new and not all of us know about it. Plus, what if I want to respond to a specific post? In certain threads in the GJ&F section rely on quoting. As far as misspelling/mistyping goes, keep in mind that some of the members on here are very young and may not know any better. And like Canoe said, smartphones can cause some serious grammatical mistakes... ROFL. Hope I helped clear some stuff up. 
and English is not everyone's first language.
And, as a world traveler, I'm very tolerant of those with English as a second language.

Then the specific thing they are quoting can be put in quotes. The whole post is not relative or important. Pictures do not need to be quoted.
I see your point. I, however, am very clumsy on a mobile device and sometimes it's just too time consuming to edit all of it out just for a sentence or two. It takes me longer to edit their quote than to think of and type my reply. LOL I guess I'm just lazy
