Lemon Blue Sumatra?

Which is why I wasn't expecting this bronzed roo - I'm going to keep him for now, and breed him on blues, but right now the whole flock goes back to the original pair... not sure if I'll be able to figure out the genetics of this without getting some new blood.

Suggestions?

I have a friend who is experimenting with collecting chicken semen... maybe I'll have her save some from this guy.

Something is going on in the breeding pen. The color coming through shouldnt have come out of any blue black or splash breeding in that amount. Also his comb looks like a cross between single and pea. also the face is far too red, eyes too light in color... i dont think its pure sumatra to be honest.

I totally agree. They are definitely mixed breeds. I've crossed Sumatra's with phoenix that look like that. their tails are pretty high too. Maybe crossed with OEG?
