I am wondering if wild ducks will mate with domestics. I have a few wild one's on the edge of my property and I am wondering if, when mine are older, they will try getting together with my Muscovy ducks? Sorry, just feels like a dumb question but I am trying to avoid any "surprises" later on.

Yes wild ducks can mate with domestic ducks and size difference seems to not matter. One thing you'll have to watch for is wild mallard drakes are notorious for gang raping and drowning mallard ducks and this could happen to your scovy ducks so be aware of this. If breeding happens and your ducks lay eggs and hatch those ducklings will be sterile.
