I have the large sized For me Snap Lock Coop. It's advertised to house 10-12 chickens. However, a friend of mine said it should house about half of that. :( I have 5 guineas and 5 chickens, all of which are young and I'm still raising, so have not integrated yet. Right now I only have my 5 guineas in the coop. They are 10 weeks old. I would really appreciate some honest opinions here because I cannot afford a second coop after spending so much money on this one & I so don't want to re home half of my flock. But I do want to do things correctly and have healthy, happy birds. BTW I do love many things about this coop. I feel that it offers great predator protection, is super easy to clean, and my birds love it. There are three roosting poles...you can see two of them here. Thank you!

IMO it might be OK for 10 chickens but not so with 5 chickens and 5 guinea... The guinea's really need their own personal space or else they will almost certainly take out their frustrations on the chickens... But, of course that is a generalization, some might get alone fine and since they are only in there at night it might minimize the hostilities...

Thank you for your honesty. That's kind of what I'm worried about too. I have a friend of a friend that is willing to give some of my guineas (and chicks if need be) a good home. They already have an established flock of chickens and guineas and large coops. Would you recommend I keep 2 or 3 guineas?
