My silver laced polish breed? Please help

r laced almost 9 week old chicken. Please help me know if this is a rooster or a hen. Also is this bearded or non bearded?
 

This is my SLC rooster at about 12 weeks. I would say yours is a rooster too. The pullets have much more rounded crests. His neck and sickle feathers just started filling out and he still doesn't have any red in his waddles or comb, none.
 
That's sad news for me. Are polish roosters usually mean? Do they crow a lot?
 
So far I have not had any issues with mine, but he is still young. He is aloof, but not aggressive, my hens still beat him up and push him around. He is vocal though. He crows in the morning, and if one of my boarders comes to the barn. Nothing I would deem overly excessive.
