I have two Rouen ducks that are about 3 months old. One is much bigger than the other. Thicker neck, bigger feet and overall larger. I just noticed the larger one is getting green feathers throughout the head. I am guessing it is a male.
I inspected the smaller one though and noticed it has just the tiniest hint of green around the eyes. Is this a drake too? Does a few bits of green indicate a male? Do hens ever have some green?
