I have a ChocolateTom Turkey who seems to be having trouble with feather growth. He lost most of his chest feathers from fighting with his 2 rival Toms in the Spring. We have had bad luck in the female to male ratio in all of our types of birds as we have ended up with an over abundance of males. Anyways the 3 Toms started to molt, but as 2 of the Toms began to regain lost feathers our other Tom has not. His skin on his chest is wrinkled up and there arn't even little fether pins breaking the skin surface. We Tried to give him feather growers and also tried to medicate him to no aveil. If anyone has an Idea of to why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it.
