YAY IT'S DAY 7!!!!!!!!!!! My oldest son and I candled our 36 eggs today while the little guys were napping. We have 18 eggs with embryo movement and 2 eggs that are questionable. The two that we aren't sure on were pretty dark shelled so it was hard to see if there was an embryo but we did see some veins so I put them back in the incubator. A few of the ones that were bad had a very defined red ring around them. I opened all the eggs up to see what was inside. Most of them were just not fertile but the few that had developed a little were pretty neat to look at. Very happy I could share that with my boy too! He loved it! Unfortunately all the pretty green eggs were not fertile and just had yolks inside with no white bullseye. They were the ones I really wanted to hatch too! Oh well, better luck next time with the colored eggs right? Overall I'd say 20 eggs out of 36 for our first time incubating is pretty good!!!
