It's 100 degrees here in Texas right now. All my birds are panting. I've set up extra waterers and installed a misting system. It helps but they do get hot.

How is she aggressive? She's usually docile?

Put her in some cool, but not cold water to soak in and cool down. Give her some electrolyte water or dropper feed it to her. Than cage her or separate her for a bit if she is still acting that way.

Eggcessive is right on both posts. Electrolytes are a must here in Texas heat. All my birds get treated water.

And could you have a broody? Mine get mean when they go broody!

well im hoping she is cause my plan was to separate her and let her lay on some eggs. i went to get some electrolytes and i put it in her water hopefully that helps a little

She won't dehydrate this way. She'll be happier. And thats a good idea, separating her. If she is broody she will love the privacy. We have a coop just for Broodies. Best of luck to you.
