Shipping hatching eggs?

I have been wanting to sell hatching eggs but am not sure how to ship them and keep them warm and such? Any suggestions?

This is how I ship my eggs. I have had no complaints. I used to use egg cartons but no more. I cut my foam and can ship as many eggs as the buyer wants. Many of my orders are for a dozen so I ship 15 eggs. I usually push the eggs a little further down into the foam but took this picture before I did it and I have another piece of foam that goes over the top of the eggs. I can cut the foam to fit the box better. Here the box was bigger and I had some left over so stuck some filler pieces on the sides. The holes aren't perfect. I was cutting them on a rather high work bench. If the bench was a little lower I could do a better job.

We used to use wrapped egg cartons too and the Post Office seemed to get worse about handling them. We knew we had to use a different method. I think cmom's method is a great one. Ours is using tissue, then bubblewrapping each egg, and then a box within a box filled with shredded paper. It seems to work really well and we have a lot of reports with good fertility. We just recently posted a video at
. I am a little camera shy, but you get the gist. I know this post is a little late, but thought it may help others getting into shipping their own hatching eggs as well.
