Thanks. I just bought 10 horizontal nipples on eBay for $20 so when I saw 50 for $10 I wanted to jump on it even though don't need that many 
I've been using the vertical nipples in my quail pens. Because they drip when the birds use them I had to build a gutter underneath and drain it out, to keep the poop tray nice and dry. It's a pain though. Now seeing how well the horizontal works (only used with my new chicks so far) I'm going to swap out all vertical ones when I have time.
Also, I'm buying one of those 4090 pressure regulator to reduce water pressure. Currently I set up a 5 gallon bucket with toilet floater to automatically fill the bucket. Works well but there's a problem of algae development I have to take down the bucket and wash every 2 weeks or so. Too lazy for that and want to automate everything.
