I purchased 3 chicks they are fully feathered i keep them contained in a small pen in my yard i also have 3 turkey chicks about the same age my question is how soon before i can let them roam the yard i also have 5 adult laying hens and a rooster that are free to roam the yard and they return to their enclosure at dusk i live in Belize so weather is not a problem

Are your Turkeys Broad Breasted Commerical or Heritage. By now if they're Broad Breasted they'll be fine. Turkeys don't fly naturally because they're too heavy. Your chickens are the problem because they're probably small enough to fly over, get lost, or squeeze through wire.

I really dont know what type of turkey i bought the chicks from the mennonite farmer that i get my cheese and butter from on market day this is all new to me i am a retired law enforcement officer from new york ha so any advice would be appreciated my yard is large and fully fenced

A wild turkey can fly better than most chickens. On the other hand most commercial tom turkeys are totally incapable of either flying or making little baby turkeys. They lack the correct body conformation and needed agility for either task but they do not lack the desire to preform the latter task.

When I let my new littles out in my yard with the biggies, I was concerned with the biggies being mean and hurting them. The littles could get under fences (I let them out at a couple days old instead of spending electricity in the brooder during the day) that the biggies couldn't. That seemed to work for that problem.
My yard has lots of good deep cover but I did have to go out a couple times a day to make sure the littles ate and drank water. I also brought them in every night because they weren't fully feathered. I read that happens around 6-8 weeks. Are yours that old?
I guess the big thing is integrating flocks and they should be about the same size before you can expect them to stay in the same coop at night.
When I had turkeys and chickens, they didn't hang out together. They weren't any special turkeys and they were feathered out when we got them, so no inside coddling. They definitely could fly and roosted wherever they wanted, which was not in the chicken coop.
Not sure if that was what you were asking. :)
