Hi All,

I've been wanting to have chickens for years, but it hasn't been an option until now. I have 15 chicks arriving late next month from McMurray, and am in the process of setting up a brooder, converting a shed into a coop and fencing in a run. Busy times but I'm looking forward to their arrival!
 
Sounds good, what breeds are you getting. Glad you joined the flock.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You are getting some really good layers. Black Sex Links are my favorite hens. They are hardy, friendly, and (along with RSLs) are egg laying machines. The EEs are my granddaughter's favorites. She loves their colored eggs. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting those eggs.
