cracks in beak

Hi guys,

I've got a question about my Indian runner duck.
His beak seems to be cracking, and it's slowly getting worse.
He's got loads of water standing everywhere in the garden so that can't be it.
Is there anything I can do about it?

Don't know anything much about ducks but with any animal or human which is experiencing keratin flakiness or breakage, it can be a variety or combination of things from low zinc, sulfur, copper, raw oils, protein, silica, etc in the diet, to external factors such as fungi colonizing the surface.

Ehhmmm, not really, he spends most of his time in grass or water, we don't really have rocks in ourbackyard that he could drill between haha
