I just got this hen yesterday and she is the cutest thing but I can't figure out what she is. She has almost all the features of a bantam Japanese but she has heavily feathered feet and different coloring around her neck/head. I have no idea how old she is either but she is about 1/3 the size of my red star hen
she sure is adorable with her super short squatty legs---she's only about 3 inches at most off the ground haha but a very good flyer! I'm going to have to learn how to clip her wings before I let her out in the yard because I'm worried she'll go to a neighbors yard who all have large dogs that aren't particularly inviting to intruders. And she's very smart! I can see her already scoping out the area for weak spots to escape! Lol
