Need help and advice on trapping a fox

I had to educate myself last summer about trapping raccoons. It's illegal to relocate trapped animals because wildlife officials consider it to be the same as killing them. Even being wild animals doesn't mean they know right away where food and water is in a new territory. This makes them starved and thirsty and sick. So it's advised to leave them in their homes or at least the same area. Unless you want to kill them. Mother raccoons often have more than one den to go to in case of emergency. But I'm not sure if she lets the babies know where these locations are. So with the fox I'd free range inside a fenced area. You could have more than one fox to trapp. So then what to do with all those foxes? I called the city they said if we brought them our coons that they would just set them free back into our area. Even after trapping our raccoons, setting them free on the property and sealing off the hole they used to get in the attic by. More moved in thru a tiny hole else where in the roof. So good luck with you're foxes, you're going to need it.

Yep .. S - S - S

Shoot = Shovel - Shut Up

I appreciate all your input. As I mentioned before, we do not own guns. I did think it was more humane to relocate but I guess I need to educate myself on the ramifications of relocation.

We may be back to the electric fencing idea.
