This may not be the right place to post this question, but I have a 13 week old rooster who is missing both his sickle feathers. I don't know if they fell out or were pulled. He seems fine otherwise. We have 7 pullets with him. They seem fine too. Haven't noticed anyone picking on him. Any ideas?
 
He's missing the sickle feathers because he hasn't grown in his adult plumage yet. Before a chicken becomes mature, it goes through three different sets of feathers. He should grow in the sickle feathers in a month or so.
