I would personally clip the wings of the Leghorns. While they may not try to get away, it is a good precautionary measure. If they seem tame and don't try to get out, you don't have to clip the wing again in the future.
As for the feeder, I'd remove the bowls of feed. With only the feeder for a food source they'll use it more.
