Worm? Weird poop?

Anyone have any idea what this is? Found it in my pullets' bedding. Thought it was a pale dropping at first, but it's smooth and firm like tissue. There are no bands on it though, as worms or larvae tend to have. The ends are very hard while the middle is more squishy. It has uric acid smears on it. Doesn't seem to match any parasites I can find info on. It's 1.5 inches long and about a third of an inch thick.

Thanks so much for your reply. The pullets are almost 7 weeks old. Is that a bit early for lash? I am pretty sure that's what it must be—I cut it open, and there are layers upon layers surrounding a pasty brown substance. And boy, does it smell foul! Worried about them laying lash so early though....

I’m having a similar issue, did you ever find out what it was? My chicks are 6 weeks today
