I live in the Philippines and its hot and humid, I am thinking of expanding my flock with week old chicks can anyone tell me if I need to have lights at night for heat or is it warm enough.

New chicks need to be kept at a temperature of around 90-95*F for the first week, after which you reduce the temperature by roughly 5* per week until they are fully feathered. So if the ambient temperature is high enough you may not need to provide extra heat for them.
