my quail is 4 weeks old now. I want her to lay eggs in the winter. I have a big shed, but what do I need for her to lay eggs?

Provide artificial light, 14 hours of light a day will encourage her to lay eggs. Also provide a nutritious and high protein feed. You might also want to provide hiding spaces and a nesting area. However at 4 weeks old your quail is still to young. They are mature at 6 weeks but may start laying until much later. Patience is KEY!
