Paint Silkie Trio SQ BQ They have good feet (5 Toes) and good wing feathers (no splits). These were NPIP tested on 10/18

Cockerel is VERY good for his age. Pullets colors are not as well developed.

I was not planning on breeding Paints. I don't think you could get better stock this reasonably priced. They are still pretty young and are looking better all the time. If I end up keeping them through the winter. I'll be selling their babies in the spring.

I had not handled this cockerel much until I started getting him ready for the show we went to (Pee Dee). But he was very calm about it. handled well and showed himself in the front of the cage. Little ham! He is just at 25 weeks.

He has developed more spots as he got older. He has a little light skin under the bottom of his toes. But that has darkened over time. I've been told that black skin poultry normally darken as they mature. If so I'm figuring he will be grand!

The pullets where pure white when they where little now the bigger girl is getting color in the wings. And the little one (three weeks younger) is getting a couple of black spots on her back end. I expect them to continue to improve as well. But since they have good feet and no split wing, that's half the battle.
