Thanks Mrs.K your comment is very well taken, I have read plenty of your posts and I appreciate it coming from you.
My roosters are only with their hens during breeding season. The rest of the year, they are in the bachelor pen. Do they want to be there? Probably not. Do the hens want them in the bachelor pad? Definitely! Since the hens are happier without the roosters, the roosters stay in the bachelor pen.
