I'm about to get some ducklings (6 weeks old) would it be good to put a cuddly toy or something with them at night?
 
That's not really necessary at their age, especially since there are more than one. Newly hatched ducklings do seem to like having something to snuggle up with (especially if they are alone), but at 6 weeks old they don't really need that. It would likely end up covered in poo anyway. ;)
