ok so I can't quite remember if my eggs are on day 18 or 19 because I had two eggs under my broody hen an entire day before the rest of the eggs and I don't remember if I started my calendar with my first eggs or when I added the rest! God I'm not smart sometimes!
But this is my first time following a hatch and I candles the eggs every few days, and I was going to candle for my last time tonight before I leave them alone... I was only going to check one.... But when I did the one I grabbed had this (little round crack like a beak just to the left of the number 3.
Is this a chick pip or did my hen accidentally step on it or peck it a bit? I candled the egg very gently but I didn't know what I was looking for but I saw movement and it didn't look like the air cell was penetrated... I can go take a pic of it while candling... But idk what to think idk if this is even the Egg that was in longest... It's either day 18 or 19 not sure
