This so very true!! My horse has taught me so much and is one of my best friends. He is second on my list of most important people In my life. Only my son is above him!! Care respect and love for my horse has given me 12 years so far of great enjoyment from him. Plus he is always pleased to see me no matter how I feel.
It's his birthday today too 19 years young for the old ex racer!! And still going strong!!

Happy birthday, Harry! I loved horses and rode them frequently for years, but life and living in a rather big town started making getting to any very difficult so I dropped that passion and then a back injury took care of my passion for show jumping. But I still have a secret dream of one day having a horse again. Maybe when I moved and settled, a few years down the line… we'll see?

That would be one more thing to look forward to @sumi ! I was raised around horses but probably won't have one again. Our place is just too small for one and there really isn't a good place to ride around here. I do love them though, such beautiful animals!
