Hello fellow chicken owners and greetings from snowy SE MN...
I've got a small flock of hens - 7 Blk Astralorps, and 15 Gold Stars. Have a small acreage in the middle of a heavy ag area - lots of corn and soybeans are grown in this area.
I've had my hens for a little over a year now - raised them from day-old chicks. In the past, when my kids were young, we had roosters, feeder pigs and beef steers, but never hens - needless to say - it's been a learning curve. Luckily, I've been able to find the info I've needed for my questions here. So my thanks to all of you.
