Yes true they like to roost. You mean roost not rooster right?My ducks are with my chickens and yes they definitely keep the place wet, however the chickens when they rooster they are above the ground so all good here.

Ok thanks. I don't think Im going to keep a drake.Personally, I think the more you handle them the Calmer they are going to be. The only thing I can see the drake doing is being the leader of the clang and keeping the females close to him and away from the chicken..
