Hello all I am new to the site as well as chickens. We are planning on raising chickens for egg production and am wondering if there are certain breeds that do not get along with other breeds.

Do All Chickens Get Along

Welcome to BYC. I'm glad you decided to join our flock. Some breeds are more aggressive than others, but most of the excellent laying breeds will get along with each other just fine if they are raised together. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Are there any particular breeds or hybrids that you have in mind?

EE and Brahma
I've had both EEs (still have some) and Brahmas in my flock together and they get along fine. EEs can be standoffish, but they are normally docile, and Brahmas are gentle giants.

and Welcome To BYC and Happy Holidays! X3, breeds of the same general type will usually get along fine. With layer breeds, the Hatchery Rhode Island Reds sometimes do seem to cause problems in mixed flocks though.
