Technically they're making me call it an Animal Swap but we really know what's up. The Chicken Swap will take place Saturday February 14th at the TSC in McDonough Ga. from 9am to 3pm.

So far i know the FFA will be here doing a cookout, IH Farmall will be here with their antique tractors and selling BBQ, the Boy Scouts will be here doing a can food drive and selling their Camp Cards and there will be vendors of all shapes and sizes selling their home made wares.

I plan to have model brooders set up for examples and there will be a free raffle for chick related items in preperation of Chick Days 2015. The Conyers Backyard Poultry Club will be here with many different breeds and species talking to everyone about what it takes to raise them.

This event is open to ducks, chickens, rabbits, goats, pigs and any other small livestock you would like to bring. Plan to bring a table and adequate cages or set up your cages on the back of a truck. I've even got a few people bringing enclosed horse trailers filled with fluffy and feathery creatures.

Any questions feel free to ask otherwise just come out and participate in our buy, sell, trade event. If it is wildly popular they will become monthly.

Is it ok if we get there later than when it first starts? We have a few miles to go so...

We just got word today we will have our first batch of chicks in on the 9th so it looks like we will be able to take part in the chicken excitement.

This is awesome!!! How did y'all set this up? I live in California and have two TSC stores within a 15 minute drive from me and I have never seen or heard of anything like this before. Any info would be appreciated as I think our community would love this
