Planning on starting another chicken flock out at my house in the country. I have a feeder and set a night camera that I got for Christmas up. Could someone please tell me what this is?
Then after that picture, I believe 10 mins later, a hog was photographed.

Just wondering if this might be something I should be aware of if I'm getting chickens?

Looks like stray dog or coyote. Either way, I would not recommend free ranging your chickens! There are a lot of good articles/posts about predator proofing, type it into the search bar at top of page. Good luck!

I pretty sure that the 1st one was a coyote or a stray dog,and the 2nd was was definitely a hog/pig

It is really hard to tell what is in the first picture. I think it is just the hog rooting around in that part of the yard, and he walked closer to the camera 10 minutes later.

Thanks for the answers, everyone. Hopefully I can find out what it is ^^

I'm either guessing it's a stray dog, coyote, or the hog. Would keep them at the house I'm at ATM, but they'res some sort of hawk or falcon roosting in a tree in my yard.

Danger, danger everywhere.
