How much do your birds like snow?

Hey,
I feel like my chickens are very wimpy because they won't come out when there is only an inch of snow on the ground! They all start to rush out the door, but then they stop and I can almost see them shaking their heads, "Nuh uh, I am not touching that weird white stuff." They either sit on the ramp all day or get down but then start squawking their heads off as their feet get cold. Silly birds! Anyway, how much do your chickens like snow? Do they frolic in it or do they sit all fluffed up and huddled on the one patch of bare ground? Do they love it or hate it with a passion? Just thought it would be fun to see how different people's chickens feel about it.

Hello, My chickens were tentative at first. I usually try to keep paths for them where the snow has been smoothed(squished down a little). But now, they will walk through 1 to3 inches of snow, no problem. They hop or fly over little drifts and don't seem mind at all. there are chicken foot snow prints all over the yard! It's funny to watch the long leg stretch walk they do through some of the deeper areas. They also alternate which foot they stand on, drawing one up to their body to warm it and then switching. They go in and out of the coop all day for food, water and egg laying so they get a chance to warm themselves if they wish.

ETA: I just noticed your avitar. I have one feather footed bantam that will only walk on compacted snow and I scatter a little area of wood chips for her to play around on. I think the feather foots don't like snow, getting those leg feathers wet.

Mine wanted nothing to do with the snow. They charged out of the coop like normal, took a look around and abruptly high tailed it back in the coop. Had to tempt them out past the snowy area with grapes.
 
My Wyandottes are not afraid of the snow, but they won't spend much time running around the yard if the coop is open. We have one Americauna that just loves the snow however. She leaps out of the coop, runs out to the snow, and plops right down in it. Happy as a lark, right there in the middle of the snowbank. So happy, you have to pick her up and set her back in the coop at night, or she'd stay out all night and freeze, I swear.
