Naked Necks or Madagascar games?

After looking at Ideals website, I'm leaning towards the games. They are shown as being black/blue in color, which seem to be the colors of my chicks.

Ideal's turkens are 100% single combed so those definitely are games. No need for guesswork..

also huge majority of hatchery turkens are red or buff with black tails with second most common being colored similarly to black sexlink hens- black with colored areas. Less common are mottled and solid whites. Can't recall any ever coming out blue...

Thanks for the information! I got them for fun because I liked their colors. It's a straight run, so I hope I get a hen or two. It might be neat to have a little flock of them!

Late to this thread - how did they grow out? (Size/speed, body conformation) I have Naked Necks form Ideal (the red/buff/black ones with single combs, except I have one weird black one with a rose comb.) I love blue birds...

Edit: Never mind - found your other thread!!!

Ideal Madacascar game = Turken with pea comb. Probably the only MG they have in them is coming from the NN that probably started out from the MG, eons ago.

I have one of each that I crossed. 3 chicks are the result of the first batch. đź‘Ź
